Oral cavity anatomy in 3D

The oral cavity with the teeth, tongue, palate and salivary glands.
The oral cavity is bounded by the lips, cheeks, hard and soft palate and the floor of the mouth, and contains the teeth in the upper and lower dental arches. The parotid, submandibular and sublingual salivary glands release saliva through their ducts, and the tongue, innervated by the hypoglossal nerve, takes part in chewing, swallowing and speech.
